- Larry, K3LZ, will give part 2 of a presentation on phase noise and related topics.
Larry Zuckerman (K3LZ), licensed since 1959, an active 50MHz member since 2008, and a Texas Instruments Kilby Labs retiree, has given us eight technical presentations, (but none since 2019). Owing to our Group’s expanded high-quality membership during the past few years, Larry is presenting a summary of his four talks, spanning 2010-2017, related to the measurement and cancellation of phase noise/jitter in local oscillator and timing generator sources, as disclosed in three patents. There will also be additional pedagogical material on signal cancellation in general and the desirable effects of minimizing phase noise/jitter on RF and other communication systems.
